Lumban is considered as the Embroidery Capital of The Philippines, the home of the finest Barong you could ever dream of.

Barong Tagalog, the national dress of the Philippines, is the main and prominent product that is being produced in Lumban.

 It is a formal attire which is occasionally worn during an special event, occasion or any gatherings.
This is also partnered with the Baro't Saya, the female's dress counterpart.

During the third week of September, Lumban held its own festival, known as Burdang Lumban Festival, which purpose is to attract tourists and gives joy to the people for giving importance for their products. One of the products presented and been acclaimed in this Festival is the Barong Tagalog.

Being the national dress, it is often seen worn by many national personalities, including celebrities and mainly politicians.
